Well its that time for hand also the end of University, i have really enjoyed this project although it wasn't the direction i wanted to go with my FMP, Its been interesting to say the least i feel during my time at university i was always pushed away from my motorsport photography and i stuck with it. Im glad i made this decision. I'm now making money from the industry and looking forward to the future ahead.

I would definitely do a few things different from this experience, I changed my idea mid way through my FMP this shortened my time scale it was due to a race team letting me down on dates etc and the plan fell through. I went in the direction of working with cars and people and how people/car owners get stereotyped for owning a specific vechile.

This module and my time at university has taught me to be more specific with times dates and planning as it is crucial to run a steady work flow.

I don't think my FMP has helped me progress in the motorsport industry but i feel that i can add some of the work to my portfolio and maybe it will interest future clients to have there image taken with there vechile instead of just there vechile.

I'm looking forward to show casing my FMP although i don't think it really shows my 'motorsport' work so i'm planning on making a book that i can show along side my FMP images to showcase and self promote the work i produce, Hopefully my website will be in the final stages in the coming weeks so i'm going to be concentrating on adding new clients to my growing list and doing some self promotion.

Another shoot

The end is near! i have been let down by a few people but i feel like i have enough work to show for my FMP, Here is another set of images from shooting a viper green scirocco.

Location planning

As i spoke about location before allot of other friends/photographer have asked me on the location of the shoot as they really liked it and found my work inspiring so i decided to show the location on my blog.

The location is actually a cheese factory with only one half of the building still in use, the scenery around the building and the backdrop give it a very surreal and urban feeling. 

Another shoot!

Finally another shoot this time it was the owner of the unphased forum ste! he runs a northwest based german vag scene forum! and loves his car

I decided to revisit my first location for this shoot as i thought the car would work really well in the location. again the weather was on my side witch was a bonus as i feel like the weather had been holding me back.

Ste was very happy with the shots produced and they got a good response online.

Here is the shot with Ste and the car, i think i need to do a bit more work on the image to make it worthy of a FMP image.

Blog/progress

I keep forgetting about the blog is hard to update when progress is slow i have a few more shoots planned when i'm free and i've started looking at the lay out for my final year show @ University!

I think i'm going to place a series of images in a row on A2-A3 size boards and have a gloss book underneath to show other shots and behind the scenes i need to look at  a company that can produce a book to a high quality standard.

Photo shoot

well its that time again another shoot, This time with Lee in his Golf R32 mk4 and awesome machine and what a pleasure to photograph, This time the weather was on our side it was nice to have a good source of natural light! 

Here are some of the images, same process ran via PS and lightroom 

The image below is the owner and the car i was a more natural feel with this shot and feel like its worked well and the colours are nice and the scenery matches. 

Even thought the my tutor didnt like the image i think it will work well in the series as its different to the urban shoots. 

Were now also working on a website/portfolio module for professional framework no3 its a bit hectic at the moment but not long left!

i'm also looking forward to completing my website then i can show clients works via my wesbite etc!
